Ming, David.  1674.  In his will, dated 12 June 1674, and probated 19 Aug 1674, the following are named:  wife, Elizabeth; sons, Joseph, David, Thomas, Benjamin, Jonathan; daughters, Elizabeth Brangman (receives a shilling only) Rachel Colson, Hannah Ming; grandchildren; Christopher Colson, Hannah Ming; and cousins Ellen Thaxton.  "Bermuda Will Book" 1, Pg. 189.

Ming, Martha.  1735.  Will of Thomas Horth mentions Grandaughter Mary Ming ½ of my land, cattle and hogs.  Sarah and Thomas Ming (my daughter's children) - ½ of my land, cattle and hogs.  Daughter Martha Ming - rest of my goods.  Son in Law, Nathaniel Ming to pay Mary Herle £8 when she is of age.  Ex. Ming, Thomas.  1769.  The Petition of Thomas Ming, Administrator of Thomas Ming, Deceased, Praying and so forth ordered that   ???   Jeremiah Haalsey, Henderson Harding, and Thomas Hoskins, or any two of them divide the estate of Thomas Ming, deceased, agreeable to the act of distribution and return the same to next court.   CHOWAN COUNTY MISCELLANEOUS PAPERS Vol. XIII, 1768-1769, Pg. 130.  State Archive, Raleigh NC

Minge, James.  1660.  James Minge is mentioned in the will of John Parrish of the Island of Barbados.  The will was written 15 May  1660 and proved 23 Oct 1661.  Waters, Henry F.  "Genealogical Gleanings in England", Genealogical Publishing Company,  Baltimore, 1969, Vol. I,  Pg. 144.

Minge, James.  1713.  In his will, Mathias Giles states that "I give and bequeath unto James Minge and Richard Davenport all & Singular ye rest of my estate both real & personal & also constitutes & appoint ye above sd James MINGE & Richard Davenport my whole & Sole Executors of this my last will & Testament.  Witness my hand & seal this 28th of October 1713".  Secretary of State Papers, Colony of North Carolina. S.108.164, Will Book 2, Page 14.   Note:  This will was written before 27 Nov 1729, the date Tyrell Co. was organized.

Minge of Sturgeon's Point , Co. of Charles City.  "To my brother John Minge the whole of my estate real and personal; my sister Elizabeth Nelson; my brother John Minge as Extr."  Signed 18 Sept 1830.  Witnesses, Jos. Nelson and John Armistead.  Codicil, "It is my desire that John Bullefont (Bellfont) have my portion of the land in the town called "Green Swamp".  At court, Charles City, 15 April 1841 the will was recorded.  Copy test, Ro. Sanderson, Ruth.   1727.  Died 4 Sept 1727; Will probated 29 July 1728.  Kinsmen listed were Thomas Harvey, Miles Gale, and kinswoman Penelope little, Wife of William Little. Abstracted from the will housed in the Office of the Secretary of State,Raleigh, North Carolina.  Also:  Hathaway's NORTH CAROLINA HISTORY AND GENEALOGICAL REGISTER, Vol. 1, Pg. 74, Pub. 1900.   Note:  Ruth Sanderson was the daughter of Benjamin Laker of Perquimans. She married first, James MING, second, Richard Sanderson.  With this will, it would appear that there was no issue from either marriage.
