Ming, David.  In the year 1667, David Ming appoints his wife, Judith, as his attorney prior to his leaving for New York in the Barque "Elizabeth & Mary".  Tylers Quarterly, Vol., 26, Pg. 39, "Genealogical Notes from Bermuda".

Ming, Hannah. 
Marriage settlement between Alexander Smith and Hannah Ming, both of St. St. Georges, said Hannah, the relect of Christopher Ming agree to make over to Alexander Smith on her marriage to him all her estate from her late husband provided Smith pay over to Hannah, daughter of Christopher, £4 sterling - 28 July 1662.  Wittness:  John Colson.

Ming, James.  1720.  (Probably should be Minge)  Tax list for Perquimans Co., NC shows that James Ming has 530 acres on his home place and that there are 5 taxable people, including servants, living there.  NORTH CAROLINA GENEALOGY, Vol. 15 No. 1, Pg. 2487.

Ming, James.  1723.  Appears on the list of Jurymen (Freeholders) in Perquimans Co., NC.  Hawks, Frances L. STORY OF NORTH CAROLINA, Vol. II, Pg. 63.

Ming, Joseph.  1702.  It appears that Joseph may have lived in Perquimans Precinct at one time.  On 2 July 1702, his name was mentioned as one of the individuals present in Perquimans Court to hear a case between Joseph Surron guardian of Debro Whedby, in a compiant against Denis Faulkner.  EARLY RECORDS OF NORTH CAROLINA , VOL XI, Colonial Court Records-Estate Papers 1665 - 1775, Packe-Young, Pg. 119.  Abstracted by Dr. Stephen E. Ming, Joseph.  1723.  Appeared as a Juryman in Chowan Co., NC.  Clark, Walter, THE STATE RECORDS OF NORTH CAROLINA, Nash Bros., Goldsboro, Vol. 25, Pg. 185.

Ming, Joseph.  1751.  Inventory of the Estate of Joseph Ming, decd. Proven 18 July 1751.  Jas. Blount, JP.  (Last statement on the document:)  Joseph Ming personally appeared before me and proved the foregoing inventory in due form of law given under my hand this 18 day of July 1751.   North Carolina State Archives. 

Ming, Nathaniel.  1707.  This indenture witnesseth the 7 day of Aug in the year of our Lord 1707 between Sarah Myng of the one part and Christopher Gale, Esq. of the other part in manner and form following:  Abstracted--- Sarah's son, Nathaniel, age 8 will be apprenticed to Christopher Gale until Nathaniel is 21 years of age.  Gale is to care for all lawful and convenient necessaries of apparel, diet, etc and to teach Nathaniel to read and write and to understand the art of navigation before the end of Nathaniel's apprenticeship.  Signed, Sarah (her mark) Myng.  Beauford Co., NC Book 1, Pg. 77, 8 Oct 1707.

Ming, Ruth.  1724.  Widow and relict of James Ming, late of this Precinct, received from James Wiatt £100, sold 300 acres on the eastermost side of Bentleys Creek, a tract known as Mr. James Minge's quarter plan, land granted to my Father Benjamine Laker, 29 April 1724. ,Test. Humphrey Phelps, Samuel Wiatt.  Taken from Deed Book B, No.191.

Minge, James.  1675/76.  Roland Place, Esq. received over 5579 acres in Charles City Co., VA for transporting 112 individuals into Virginia.  James Minge was one of the individuals.  24 Feb. 1675/76.  Patent Book 6.  Foley, Louise Pledge Heath.  EARLY VIRGINIA FAMILIES ALONG THE JAMES RIVER, THEIR DEEP ROOTS AND TANGLED BRANCHES,  CHARLES CITY CO., -- PRINCE GEORGE  CO., VIRGINIA, Richmond, 1978, Vol.II, Pg. 47.

Minge, James.  1723/24.  James Minge died Jan. 23, 1723/24.  Birth, Death & marriages in Berkley, (later Perquimans Precinct).  Hathaway, J. R. B.. NORTH CAROLINA HISTORY & GENEALOGICAL REGISTER, Vol. 3, No. 3, Pg. 405.  Note:  The original of this document is in the Courthouse in Hertford, NC.

Minge, Robert.  1741.  After Robert Minge died, his widow, Mrs. Mary Minge married William Allen, son of William and Ann Allen.  This is proven from an agreement made 18 Nov 1741 in which it was recited that William and Mary Allen of Goochland Co., having released to Tabitha MINGE and George Baskerville the right of dower of Mary Allen in 375 acres lying in Charles City Co., whereof said Robert MINGE died seized and possessed and in consideration whereof and of 16 pounds the said Tabitha MINGE and George Baskerville convey to William and Mary Allen their interest in seven Negroes.  Book 4, pg. 359 Goochland Co., VA.   Also found in:  Wicker, Richard Fenton.  THE ALLEN FAMILY OF ENGLAND, VIRGINIA, NORTH CAROLINA,.......1600-1995, Baltimore, 1995, pgs. 6-8.  

Minge, Ruth.  1713.  At a court held at Southward for the County of Surry, VA, 15 April 1713.  John Allen by virtue of a Power Attorney from Ruth Minge appearing in court relinquishes her the said  Ruth Minge's Right of Dower  of in and to a certain parcel  of land sold by her husband James Minge to Thomas  Holliday the same is ordered to be recorded.  Haun, Weynette Parks.  SURRY COUNTY, VIRGINIA COURT RECORDS 1712-1718,  Book VII, © 1993, Pg. 20, item #[27] 419.

Mings, James. 1716.  "North Carolina Corn List, circa 1716."  A list of taxables whose tax was to be paid with one bushel of corn per taxable.  Mr. Clayton's list:  James Mings, six bushels.  Note:  Mr. Clayton's list was of persons on the North side of Perquimans River between Suttons Creek and modern Hertford, and on the South side of the said river down to Yeopim River.  NORTH CAROLINA GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY JOURNAL:  Vol. XII, No. 4, Nov 1986, Pg. 216.
